OVERVIEW:

Under 14 to under 19 division creates a positive soccer environment for players to continue to develop their ball skills, enjoyment and insight into the game.  The focus of these programs is player development with healthy competition.  Players will likely consist of a mixture of beginners along with players that have been exposed to soccer through their club, school or friends.  Principles of attacking and defending are incorporated into age appropriate soccer activities.  

Players are placed on all boys or all girls teams that are led by a volunteer head coach who conducts practice with the support of the Recreational Director.  Teams practice twice each week for one and a half  hour each session (practice schedule determined by head coach and not known in advance) with games on Saturdays and some Sunday afternoons.   There will also be some minimal travel for away games.

(Note:  Our u16 and u19 teams could possibly be coed teams consisting of both boys and girls on the same team.)

Program Information:  

Program Length:	9-10 weeks competitive program
Division:	U14/U16/U19 co-ed or separate boys/girls divisions depending on number of teams
Roster Size:	Up to 18 players
Ball Size:	Size 5 soccer ball
Coaches:	Volunteer Head Coaches
Practices Per Week:	2 x 1 hour sessions***
Practice Days:	Determined by head coach- not known in advance
Practice Times:	8pm to 9pm   (can vary)
Practice Location:	Braly Soccer Complex, 775 Industrial Blvd N, Dallas, GA30132
Game Days:	Mostly Saturdays, and games possible with other clubs as determined by schedule. Games may occasionally be scheduled for a Friday evening or a Sunday afternoon if necessary to best ensure referee coverage and to accommodate reschedules due to rainouts.
Game Location (14U)	Half of the season's games will be at Braly, with the other half as away games against other local SSA programs such as Kennesaw and Paulding.
Game Location (16U and 19U)::	Half of the season's games will be at Braly, with the other half as away games against other metro-Atlanta area club teams.
Game Format:	11 v 11 (includes goalkeeper)
Game Duration:	Allow 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours for game days
Field Size:	Approx 110 x 65 yards.

***Practice and game schedules are subject to effects of the weather and other factors outside of the control of the club and cannot be guaranteed. In the event of rain-outs, the club will look to ensure that a minimum of 8 game dates are played across the season. Make-up practices are subject to field and coach availability.

Additional costs that may be incurred throughout the season include but are not limited to.......team/individual photo packets,  coaches/team managers appreciation gift at end of season, end of season trophies, end of season banquet..
