Registration Information


We provide 2 seasons of soccer each year - spring and fall.
Spring begins mid February through mid May and Fall begins mid August through mid November each year. 
Spring registration dates are from November 15th through January 31st
Fall registration dates are from May 15th through July 31st

Registration fees are 'per season'.

UPDATE:  Fall 2020 registration will open June 15th through July 31st

Please note that teams and divisions can and do fill up prior to registration deadlines so it is recommended that you register early to avoid being added to the wait list.

How To Register

Registration is online only. If you need assistance please contact Tess Kaye, Administrator at [email protected]  Please include your child/children's complete date of birth when making inquiries or needing assistance. 

If you are  new to SSA Paulding, you must form a NEW account within our registration system by clicking below after which you will be able to register for programs:

Southern Soccer Academy uses the Blue Sombrero platform for all registration and payment processes. Once an account is created, a parent/guardian will be able to manage all aspects, including registering for individual programs and making payment(s) to secure a place on the program itself. For more details and a step-by-step guide to the process, please click HERE.

Incomplete Registrations

Registrations that have not been paid in full will remain in our system for 7 days.  If registration is not completed and account is not paid in full by this time then the registration will be removed and you will have to re-register for your desired program.   No player will be added to a team until the registration is completed and account has been paid in full.   If you do not complete your registration and click 'submit' the registration will revert back to your shopping cart and you will not be added to a team.   You will have to log back into your account, click on your shopping cart to complete registration, submit payment, then click 'submit'.  

Volunteer Coach Registration

Recreational soccer programs are built on the involvement of volunteers. SSA has an excellent support system in place for our coaches and also offer many benefits.

Registration Confirmation and Club Communication


Once successfully registered online, you will receive a confirmation email from Blue Sombrero (our communications provider) to your primary email address associated with your account. Please ensure you add Blue Sombrero to your contact list - you may need to check your spam folder. All SSA email communication is sent by Blue Sombrero. 

Wait List Registration
Players who wish to register after registration deadline will be placed on a waiting list and will be assigned to a team as space is available.  Your teammate and/or coach request is not guaranteed.  If we are able to place you on a team, you will be contacted via  a Blue Sombrero email that your wait list registration has been activated.  Once you receive the activation notification email, you will need to log back into your account to submit payment.  You will not be placed  on a team until payment has been submitted.

5U to 19U program uniforms must be ordered online by the parent.  
All players new to the program are required to purchase a uniform kit  
All 4U players will receive a T-shirt and a size 3 soccer ball as part of their registration fee.  

General Information

Registration must be fully completed, including payment in order for the club to place the player in a program (on a team).
No player will be place on a team until account is paid in full. 
Coach/teammate/special requests are not guaranteed

Returned checks incur a $25 charge
Practice info - please refer to your age division under our Programs tab. 
You will be notified of your practice schedule by your coach once teams have been rostered and coach has received the roster.
Game info - game schedules will be posted to the website approximately 2 weeks prior to the first game date.
